A bento box fueled by fiery passion — sukiyaki beef, soft-boiled egg, tofu, rice, and scallions. A hero’s lunch worthy of the Flame Hashira himself.
A bento box fueled by fiery passion — sukiyaki beef, soft-boiled egg, tofu, rice, and scallions. A hero’s lunch worthy of the Flame Hashira himself.

Ingredients:


Beef Sukiyaki 

  • Leeks/green onion

  • Beef brisket 

  • Sukiyaki sauce (optional)

  • Tofu 

  • Soft boiled shoyu egg 🥚 

  • Cabbage

  • Onion

  • Sake

  • Mirin

  • Shoyu

  • Konbu 

  • Bento box


Directions:

  1. Boil eggs for exactly 7 minutes and into cold iced water. for a jammy soft boil.

  2. Marinade it with water, mirin, soy sauce and sugar and refrigerate for an hour or more.

  3. For sukiyaki sauce, mix dashi, sugar, mirin, and sake. Set aside.

  4. Stir fry sliced onions in a pan, add sukiyaki sauce and lastly the thin sliced brisket set aside.

  5. Stir fry cubed tofu and green onions stalks with salt, pepper and sesame oil. Bento box it up and serve!
